Artemis Outsourcing Ltd, a regionally focused multidisciplinary consulting firm specializing in Human Resource Management solutions, is currently seeking an HR Officer to strengthen its Human Resources department. In this position, you will play a key role in overseeing daily HR functions, such as recruitment coordination and maintaining accurate employee records, to foster a seamless and productive work environment.

Accountabilities

The successful candidate will be tasked with overseeing a range of critical operational duties while ensuring adherence to established protocols. Key obligations include managing daily workflows, coordinating cross-functional teams, and maintaining compliance with industry standards. Additionally, the role demands meticulous attention to detail in monitoring performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategic solutions to enhance efficiency. The position also requires strong leadership to mentor junior staff, foster collaboration, and uphold a culture of accountability and continuous development.

We facilitate recruitment activities by advertising job openings, reviewing candidate applications, and organizing interview schedules.

Accurately oversee and update employee records, contracts, and HR databases to ensure optimal integrity and compliance with organizational standards.

Support the facilitation of employee onboarding and offboarding processes.

Oversee all HR-related communications, including correspondence, formal letters, and official documentation.

Coordinate training schedules for staff while maintaining accurate attendance documentation.

Compiling timesheets and leave data is essential to facilitate accurate payroll preparation, ensuring all employee hours and absences are documented correctly.

Address employee inquiries related to human resources policies, procedures, and guidelines with professionalism and accuracy, ensuring clarity and compliance with organizational standards.

Support the planning and execution of initiatives aimed at enhancing employee well-being and fostering a positive work environment.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team, and we require the following qualifications and skills. Candidates must possess a minimum of three years of relevant experience in the field, along with a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are critical. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, along with the ability to work under pressure, are also required. Prior experience in a similar role and a proven track record of delivering results will be considered advantageous.

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field is required.

Candidates should possess a minimum of one to three years of professional experience in an HR or administrative capacity.

Possesses a comprehensive understanding of Kenyan Labour Laws and adheres to industry-leading HR best practices.

Demonstrates strong competency in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, to enhance productivity and streamline workflow processes.

Demonstrated proficiency in organizational capabilities and effective communication is required.

Maintains the highest standards of confidentiality and professional integrity at all times.

Membership with HRM offers a distinct advantage to candidates.
