Position Overview

The Swimming Pool Attendant/Boat Rider is responsible for upholding guest safety, comfort, and satisfaction at the hotel’s swimming pool and boating facilities. This position integrates guest service, vigilant safety oversight, and proper equipment management to provide a high-quality recreational experience.

Oversee a comprehensive range of duties, including but not limited to strategic planning, team leadership, and operational execution to ensure organizational objectives are met efficiently. Formulate and implement policies, procedures, and best practices that enhance productivity while maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, facilitating transparent communication and fostering collaborative relationships to drive project success. Monitor performance metrics, analyze outcomes, and recommend data-driven improvements to optimize workflows and resource allocation. Lead cross-functional initiatives, mentor team members, and delegate responsibilities to cultivate a high-performance culture. Ensure stakeholder satisfaction through consistent delivery of quality outcomes within specified timelines and budget constraints.

Ensure guest safety by actively supervising pool and boating areas to prevent accidents, strictly enforcing safety protocols, and responding without delay to any emergencies that may arise.

The individual will oversee the cleanliness of the pool deck, boats, and adjacent areas while also monitoring water quality to identify and report any discrepancies.

Equipment Handling: Responsible for operating and securing boats, life jackets, and poolside equipment while maintaining proper storage and upkeep.

Assist guests with various poolside requirements, boat excursions, and recreational events by offering attentive and courteous support. Provide concise guidance and maintain a welcoming demeanor to ensure a positive experience for all visitors.

Collaborate effectively with lifeguards, recreation staff, and hotel management to align guest activities seamlessly.

Seeking a highly motivated professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the relevant field, preferably holding a Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline. Ideal candidates will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in industry-standard software. The role requires excellent communication proficiency, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Demonstrated leadership in project management and a track record of delivering measurable results are essential. Additionally, familiarity with regulatory compliance and risk assessment frameworks is strongly preferred.

Swimming Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in swimming with a preference for candidates holding a valid lifeguard certification.

Professional Rewriting:
Experience navigating small vessels or watercraft with a strong emphasis on safety protocols is required.

CPR and First Aid certification are strongly preferred for this role.

A background in hospitality, particularly experience within hotels, resorts, or recreational facilities, is highly desirable.

Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated capacity to engage thoughtfully and courteously with guests from varied cultural, linguistic, and social backgrounds.
