Inventory & Stock Management: Responsible for overseeing, procuring, and sustaining optimal stock levels of chemicals, reagents, live specimens, and physics equipment. Oversees the annual auditing of laboratory assets to ensure accuracy and accountability.
Perform routine cleaning, calibration, and upkeep of laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance. Coordinate and arrange for professional repair services whenever specialized technical interventions are required.
Ensure the safe and compliant disposal of chemical and biological hazardous waste in accordance with all applicable regulations and standards.
Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate closely with science faculty to explore innovative experiments, offer specialized technical guidance, and occasionally support students throughout hands-on practical activities.
Provide students with instruction on appropriate laboratory protocols and safety measures whenever necessary.
