Job Summary
Rivet Software & Systems LTD is seeking a proactive and dependable Onsite Technician to enhance our expanding team. The preferred candidate will provide onsite technical support, perform system installations and maintenance, resolve technical issues, and assist customers with our software and hardware solutions.
Oversee and execute core duties encompassing strategic planning, operational management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure organizational objectives are met. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and performance metrics to enhance efficiency and accountability. Lead and mentor teams to foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and high performance. Analyze market trends, financial data, and industry benchmarks to identify opportunities for growth and risk mitigation. Serve as a liaison between senior leadership, stakeholders, and external partners to align initiatives with broader business goals. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, ethical guidelines, and corporate governance frameworks while maintaining transparency and integrity.
Deliver hands-on technical assistance and resolve system issues on-site.
Install, configure, and maintain software applications and hardware infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Provide clients with comprehensive guidance on system configuration and deliver responsive user support to ensure seamless operation.
Diagnose and address technical problems with efficiency and precision.
Perform regular maintenance and system inspections as scheduled.
Provide instruction to users on system operations as needed, ensuring they possess the necessary skills and knowledge to utilize the systems effectively.
Compile comprehensive technical reports and provide ongoing updates to stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and clarity in all documentation.
Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain clear, professional communication with clients.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required, supplemented by a minimum of five years of professional experience in software development or a comparable role. Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++ is essential, along with expertise in software design principles and best practices. Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills are necessary to collaborate effectively within a team environment. Candidates must demonstrate a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions and possess the capacity to adapt to evolving technologies and methodologies.
A diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a closely related discipline is required.
A fundamental knowledge of computer systems, networking principles, and software support methodologies is required.
Effective verbal and written communication abilities, along with strong interpersonal competencies, are essential for fostering productive professional relationships and ensuring clear, concise exchanges of information.
Proven capability to operate autonomously with minimal oversight, demonstrating strong self-management and accountability in fulfilling responsibilities.
Exceptional aptitude for resolving complex issues with innovative and effective solutions remains essential, as does the capacity to analyze intricate problems methodically and implement strategic resolutions efficiently, ensuring optimal outcomes while maintaining high standards of accuracy and reliability.
Technical support or field experience is highly beneficial in this role.

Proficiency in ERP or POS systems is required for this role. Familiarity with enterprise resource planning or point-of-sale software is essential to effectively execute job duties.
Proven capability to undertake travel for onsite assistance and support when required.
