Implement the four-handed/ four-eyes dentistry methodology to enhance precision and safety in all procedures.
Support the dentist in preparing and blending dental materials as required for various procedures.
Capture intraoral photos, conduct pulp vitality tests, and pour, trim, and polish study casts to generate diagnostic information.
Provide support for a variety of specialized dental procedures, including periodontal therapy, endodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery, implant placement, and restoration.
Fabrication of temporary restorations, selection of appropriate shades, and cleaning and polishing of removable appliances are required duties.
Provide patients with clear oral hygiene and plaque control guidance, along with comprehensive postoperative instructions, including any medications prescribed by the dentist.
Document patient dental care services by recording detailed information in electronic health records using specialized dental software.
Ensure a secure and sanitized workplace by strictly adhering to established protocols, guidelines, and regulatory standards outlined in hospital policy.
Ensure the proper functioning of dental equipment by adhering to preventive maintenance schedules, strictly following manufacturer guidelines, diagnosing and resolving malfunctions, and coordinating repair services when necessary. Additionally, maintain accurate inventories of all equipment, assess the performance and suitability of new equipment, and evaluate emerging techniques to enhance operational efficiency and patient care.
