JOB PURPOSE
The position entails ensuring the secure, precise, and efficient preparation, dispensing, and inventory management of medications across all pharmacy units at Premier Hospital, including the First Floor Pharmacy, Chemotherapy Section, Main Pharmacy, and Main Store. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strict adherence to safety protocols, strong collaborative skills, and full compliance with regulatory standards to uphold patient care excellence and medication safety.
Oversee the full spectrum of operational duties, ensuring seamless execution of critical tasks and adherence to established protocols. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and maintain high standards of performance. Monitor progress, evaluate outcomes, and implement corrective measures as needed to achieve organizational objectives. Facilitate communication between departments to align strategies and resolve operational challenges. The chemotherapy section is responsible for administering prescribed chemotherapy treatments to patients, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and individualized care plans. Staff must maintain meticulous documentation of each treatment session, including dosage, patient response, and any adverse reactions. Additionally, they provide patient education on managing side effects and coordinate closely with oncologists and other healthcare professionals to optimize therapeutic outcomes. Candidates should possess a current nursing license, chemotherapy certification, and at least two years of experience in oncology nursing. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential requirements.

Additionally, develops and implements inventory control procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce waste within the organization.

Pharmacy operations management encompasses overseeing all aspects of daily pharmacy functions, including prescription processing, inventory control, and regulatory compliance. This role requires ensuring accurate medication dispensing, maintaining patient records, and adhering to pharmacy laws and standards. Responsibilities include coordinating staff, managing workflow efficiency, and implementing quality assurance measures to guarantee patient safety and service excellence. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals and address operational challenges.
Prepare drug orders for inpatients across general wards as well as specialized units.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required. Three or more years of experience in network administration, cybersecurity, or a comparable technical role is necessary. Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewall management is essential. Knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) and experience with network monitoring tools such as Wireshark or SolarWinds is required. Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills are also necessary to troubleshoot issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is preferred, along with relevant certifications such as CCNA, Compton Security+, or CISSP.
Holders of a Pharmacy Diploma are eligible for consideration, possessing the requisite educational foundation in pharmaceutical sciences.
A minimum of two years of professional experience is required, with at least one year obtained in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Proven expertise in utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is required.
The position necessitates a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, along with a minimum of five years of professional experience in a comparable role. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, as is the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are required to effectively fulfill the responsibilities associated with this role.
