Gertrude’s Children’s Hospital is a not-for-profit pediatric facility founded in 1947. As the oldest and most distinguished children’s hospital in Eastern and Central Africa, it delivers specialized healthcare services to children in Kenya and those referred from neighboring countries. Annually, the hospital serves more than 300,000 outpatients across its 15 locations in and around Nairobi while providing inpatient care to over 9,000 patients at its 100-bed flagship facility in Mathieu, Nairobi.
