Oversee and execute a range of critical duties and obligations, ensuring adherence to established protocols and objectives. Deliver strategic contributions by managing key responsibilities, which include developing and implementing processes, coordinating cross-functional initiatives, and maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency. Deliver technical assistance to MA program personnel in designated thematic focus areas, including Alternative Care, Family Strengthening, and Community Empowerment, while ensuring adherence to organizational benchmarks and directives.

Assist with the execution of trainings and workshops designed to enhance the capabilities of MA program staff regarding program quality standards and pertinent thematic areas.

Provide assistance in executing and overseeing organizational and international quality standards across member associations, while ensuring prompt identification and reporting of any gaps or risks to the Supervisor.

Offer expert technical guidance to MA program teams throughout project design and planning phases, encompassing the formulation of humanitarian and development proposals, while also conducting quality assurance reviews in collaboration with the Supervisor.

Support medical assistants in interpreting federation quality standards within local contexts, ensuring compliance with established guidelines.

Support the development of documentation encompassing best practices, key lessons, and strategic insights for program enhancement, thereby fostering organizational learning and driving continuous quality improvements.

Assist in creating and deploying MEAL tools and processes within the MA support department and extend support to other managed accounts (MA’s) as required.

Facilitate peer learning programs, exchange activities, and educational sessions, with a focus on documenting and sharing best practices to enhance collective knowledge and collaboration across teams.

Assist with the creation or modification of tools, guidance documents, and templates, while facilitating their deployment across Member Associations.

Support MA program teams in implementing program adjustments, including piloting innovative strategies or overseeing transitional phases, as directed.

Engage in external technical forums or networks as needed, facilitating knowledge sharing and collaborative learning without acting as an independent representative.

Ensure the maintenance of safeguarding standards and actively foster a secure environment for all individuals involved.

Requirements

A Master’s degree is mandatory, ideally in disciplines such as social sciences, Project Management, Psychology, Child Rights, Development Studies, or a comparable field.

Possesses a solid grasp of program cycle management, with particular expertise in Results-Based Management (RBM), encompassing project design, implementation, and evaluation.

Professional experience of five to eight years in a related field is required for this role.

Individuals should possess a proven track record in program quality assurance, program design and implementation, or comparable technical advisory functions within development, humanitarian, or social service organizations.

Professionals should possess practical expertise in delivering technical program assistance within a minimum of one specialized domain, including alternative care, family strengthening, child and youth development, or mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS).

A track record of providing support to program teams and implementing organizational quality standards is required.

Proficiency in program design, planning, and quality review processes is a prerequisite, as is a track record of active participation in capacity-building initiatives such as training sessions, workshops, and learning events.

Proficiency in navigating multicultural and multi-stakeholder settings is a prerequisite for this role.
