Respond to user department Breakdown Maintenance (BDM) requests in accordance with established policies with immediate urgency.

Ensure all Preventive Maintenance (PPM) tasks for electrical systems and equipment are performed promptly and in accordance with established schedules.

Act as an intermediary between user departments and facilitate maintenance activities, promptly escalating any arising issues to the supervisor for resolution.

Over time, the position involves a range of routine obligations and key responsibilities that must be fulfilled consistently. These recurring tasks ensure the smooth operation of assigned duties and contribute to the overall objectives of the role. Coordinate and lead efforts related to special initiatives, including the acquisition of new systems or equipment, as well as the creation of detailed bid specifications and other project-related documentation.

Prepare comprehensive Preventative Maintenance schedules and guidelines in collaboration with the Electrical Supervisor to ensure optimal performance and reliability of electrical systems.

Design and implement comprehensive safety protocols and specialized in-service training programs tailored to specific equipment, ensuring technicians and end-users are thoroughly educated and competent in safe operational practices.

Conduct incident investigations and analyze system or equipment performance as needed.

Responsible for creating or evaluating emergency and safety protocols concerning the utilization and functioning of electrical systems and equipment.
