Perform Physical Acceptance Tests (PAT) and conduct thorough site quality inspections to evaluate newly installed equipment and infrastructure.
Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on telecom equipment to uphold optimal network availability and service standards.
Perform diagnostic evaluations and replace malfunctioning radio, transmission, and power systems on tower and rooftop installations.
Conduct drive tests, analyze signals, diagnose faults, and lead performance improvement initiatives to optimize network efficiency and reliability.
Oversee the ongoing maintenance and technical support of electrical power systems, such as rectifiers, battery units, diesel engine generators (DEG), power distribution networks, grounding infrastructure, and site electrical protection mechanisms.
Evaluate and oversee on-site electrical systems to verify adherence to established electrical engineering protocols and stringent safety regulations.
Perform regular inspections and maintenance on tower and rooftop infrastructure, ensuring rust treatment, verifying earthing quality, and conducting structural assessments.
Perform comprehensive site evaluations, technical analyses, and feasibility assessments to evaluate potential network expansion initiatives and infrastructure enhancement opportunities.
Responsibilities include assisting in the execution of network upgrades, modernization initiatives, and the deployment of new technologies.
Prepare accurate and timely maintenance reports, incident reports, acceptance documentation, and operational records to ensure comprehensive record-keeping and compliance with established procedures.
Deliver consistent oversight, technical guidance, mentorship, and task delegation to the assigned technician, fostering seamless field operations while upholding established standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Proven experience in a comparable role, typically a minimum of three years in a similar position. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++, along with familiarity with software development methodologies, databases, and system architecture. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
A Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline is required.
A minimum of two to three years of hands-on experience in telecom field operations, radio systems, or network maintenance is required.
Proficiency in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of microwave radio systems and LTE/GSM equipment, both theoretically and practically, is required.

A foundational knowledge of electrical engineering concepts, including AC and DC power systems, rectifiers, generators, batteries, grounding techniques, and electrical safety protocols, is required.
Valid Fall Arrest Certification is required, with a minimum of one year remaining before its expiration date.
