We are seeking a highly motivated individual to oversee and execute a range of critical tasks, including the management of project timelines, coordination with cross-functional teams, and the delivery of high-quality results in accordance with established standards. Key duties involve conducting thorough analyses, preparing comprehensive reports, and ensuring adherence to organizational policies and procedures. Additionally, the position requires the ability to multitask effectively, prioritize competing demands, and communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels.

Monitor transactions, merchant behavior, and ATM transactions to detect suspicious or irregular activities, thoroughly investigate flagged transactions, and promptly address any identified fraud risks or scams.

Merchant and Third-Party Oversight: Responsible for monitoring the activities of merchants and third-party agents by evaluating transactions, operational processes, websites, product offerings, and service delivery to verify adherence to regulatory guidelines and scheme standards.

Monitoring merchant screening and payment intelligence alerts, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, this role addresses compliance and risk mitigation by supporting fraud investigations, documenting suspicious activities, and offering strategic recommendations to minimize fraud, chargebacks, and operational risks.

Ensure the integrity and precision of data within acquisition systems by meticulously maintaining accurate records and producing comprehensive reports on suspicious activities and investigation results.

Engage with internal departments and external industry organizations to gather essential data, offer expert counsel on fraud and chargeback issues, and assist in fulfilling reporting mandates for regulatory and industry bodies.

Requirements

Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, complemented by a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in a comparable role. Strong proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, along with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. The ideal applicant will demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a proven track record of delivering results in fast-paced environments. Prior experience in project management or leadership is highly desirable, as is familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance protocols.

A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Criminology, Business Administration, or a closely aligned discipline is required.

Requires a minimum of two to three years of hands-on experience in fraud monitoring, risk management, or banking operations.

Proficiency in payment system regulations and anti-money laundering (AML) compliance protocols is required.
