Oversee a comprehensive range of duties encompassing strategic planning, operational execution, and performance monitoring to ensure alignment with organizational objectives. Lead cross-functional teams to foster collaboration, drive efficiency, and achieve key performance indicators. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize workflows and enhance productivity. Monitor departmental performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and recommend data-driven solutions to senior leadership. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards. Serve as a primary liaison between executive leadership and operational staff to facilitate clear communication and decision-making.

Lead and guide curriculum development workshops in collaboration with founders, advisors, faculty, and other essential stakeholders.

Develop and introduce 2-3 short courses within a short timeframe to create an initial audience, validate key program assumptions, and showcase progress to collaborators and investors.

Develop a comprehensive curriculum framework and program architecture at an advanced level for the institution.

Design and structure learning pathways, define program sequencing, develop individual modules, and establish clear learning outcomes.

Facilitate the seamless incorporation of entrepreneurship, innovation, and professional practice into all educational programs.

Offer guidance on effective teaching methodologies, innovative studio-based learning frameworks, and the strategic design of student experiences.

Transform workshop results into concise curriculum materials and detailed implementation strategies.

Work closely with operations and leadership teams to plan, coordinate, document, and deliver workshops.

Offer strategic guidance on enhancing academic frameworks, refining assessment methodologies, and fostering interdisciplinary learning initiatives.

Analyze leading global and African creative education frameworks to shape curriculum strategies and enhancements.

Ensure the timely and accurate completion of all specified deliverables within the agreed-upon timelines. Maintain high standards of quality and precision in the execution of assigned tasks, meeting or exceeding established expectations. Provide regular updates on progress to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with project goals. Address any potential risks or challenges promptly to mitigate their impact on deliverables. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of efforts and resources. Verify that all deliverables adhere to relevant industry standards, regulations, and organizational policies before submission.

Ideal Candidate:

Candidates should possess a robust academic foundation and/or extensive professional experience in education, curriculum development, learning design, or creative instructional approaches.

Demonstrated expertise in designing curricula, academic programs, or comprehensive learning frameworks is essential.

Proven track record in leading interactive workshops, co-creation sessions, or collaborative learning experiences.

Proficiency in innovative educational frameworks, such as creative instruction, studio-based pedagogies, interdisciplinary curricula, or alternative learning methodologies, is essential.

Demonstrates exceptional ability to engage with stakeholders, communicate effectively, and maintain strong organizational capabilities.

Proficiency in arts, culture, fashion, design, or other creative sectors is strongly preferred.

A strong familiarity with African creative ecosystems and cultural contexts is highly desirable.

Demonstrated capacity to thrive in dynamic, high-pressure settings while fostering strong teamwork and adaptability.

Duration:

The consultancy engagement is anticipated to span a duration of 12 to 16 weeks, divided into two distinct phases. A mid-engagement review will be conducted between these phases to evaluate progress, ensure alignment with objectives, and determine the continuation of the project.
