Oversee and execute a range of critical duties, including the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to drive organizational growth, ensuring alignment with company objectives and industry standards. Lead cross-functional teams to foster collaboration and achieve project milestones, while maintaining clear communication channels to stakeholders. Monitor performance metrics to assess progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed. Serve as a key liaison between departments, senior leadership, and external partners to facilitate seamless operations and resolve escalated issues. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, while upholding the highest ethical and professional standards.

Lead curriculum development workshops in collaboration with founders, advisors, faculty, and other key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with educational goals and institutional needs.

Devise and deliver 2-3 concise, market-ready courses within the coming months to cultivate an initial audience, validate key program hypotheses, and showcase tangible progress to collaborators and investors.

Develop a comprehensive curriculum framework and program structure for the school at an advanced level.

Develop structured educational routes, organize curricula sequences, and establish module frameworks, ensuring alignment with defined learning outcomes.

Facilitate the incorporation of entrepreneurship, innovation, and practical professional development within academic and training programs.

Offer guidance on instructional methodologies, experiential learning frameworks within studio environments, and the strategic design of student engagement initiatives.

Convert workshop findings into comprehensive curriculum materials and detailed implementation strategies.

Collaborate effectively with the operations and leadership teams to plan, coordinate, document, and deliver workshops seamlessly.

Offer guidance on refining academic frameworks, designing effective assessment strategies, and fostering interdisciplinary learning opportunities to enhance educational outcomes.

To inform the development of the curriculum, analyze and evaluate relevant global and African creative education models.

Ensure timely and accurate completion of all required deliverables as specified in the project plan or contract, maintaining adherence to quality standards and deadlines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary inputs, review progress, and address any obstacles that may arise, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Track and report on the status of deliverables regularly to stakeholders, providing clear updates on milestones achieved and any deviations from the expected timeline.

Led curriculum development workshops and produced comprehensive summary reports.

Develop a comprehensive and systematic curriculum framework and program structure, encompassing detailed content outlines, strategic content mapping, and well-defined lesson structures.

We have 2–3 meticulously designed course outlines that are prepared for prompt implementation, each featuring a comprehensive program description, clearly defined target audience, specified duration, and measurable learning outcomes.

This involves outlining structured learning pathways and suggesting optimal sequences for training modules.

Develop and recommend strategic pathways for curriculum advancements and their effective execution, ensuring alignment with educational objectives and institutional standards.

The comprehensive curriculum development report has been finalized, consolidating all findings, recommendations, and outcomes into a single, cohesive document for review and implementation.

Ideal Candidate:

A robust academic foundation and/or extensive professional experience in education, curriculum design, instructional development, or innovative teaching methodologies are essential.

Experienced in designing and implementing curricula, academic programs, or comprehensive learning frameworks.

Proven track record in leading and executing workshops, co-creation sessions, and collaborative learning activities.

Proficiency in creative education methodologies, studio-based learning approaches, interdisciplinary program design, or alternative education frameworks is required.

Dynamic stakeholder engagement and communication skills are essential, complemented by the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Proficiency in arts, culture, fashion, design, or related creative sectors is strongly preferred.

A keen awareness of the dynamics and cultural frameworks within African creative communities is highly advantageous.

Demonstrates strong teamwork skills in a dynamic and rapidly changing workplace.

The role is expected to span a specified term, with the exact length contingent upon project requirements and organizational needs.

The consultancy engagement is anticipated to span 12 to 16 weeks, divided into two distinct phases. A formal review checkpoint will be conducted between these phases to evaluate progress, ensure strategic alignment, and determine whether to proceed with the next phase.

Reporting Line: The successful candidate will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Operations, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and maintaining operational transparency. This role requires close collaboration with department heads to disseminate directives, monitor performance metrics, and facilitate seamless communication across the organization. A strong understanding of corporate hierarchy and a proven ability to manage reporting relationships are essential for driving efficiency and accountability within the team.

The consultant will collaborate closely with the Arts Education Initiative team while reporting directly to the designated Operations Lead at Pharos Foundation.
