Gertrude’s Children’s Hospital is a non-profit pediatric healthcare provider founded in 1947. As the oldest and most prominent children’s hospital in Eastern and Central Africa, it delivers specialized medical services to children in Kenya and those referred from neighboring countries. Annually, the hospital serves over 300,000 outpatients across its 15 facilities in and around Nairobi, while its 100-bed flagship facility in Mathieu, Nairobi, admits more than 9,000 patients each year.
