Maintain an accurate log of all sales transactions within the designated accounting software system.

Reconcile all income transactions by cross-verifying point-of-sale (POS) records with payment processing data to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial reporting.

Responsibilities include ensuring till floats and petty cash balances remain accurate and up-to-date through regular reviews and reconciliations. Diligently track and verify all transactions to confirm proper handling of cash and prevent discrepancies.

Verify the correctness of purchase invoices, ensuring they are properly authorized and aligned with the allocated budget.

Accrued invoices must be entered into the accounting software system in a timely and accurate manner to ensure proper financial tracking and compliance with established procedures.

Process payments to various suppliers upon confirming invoices and securing the necessary approvals.

Responsible for timely preparation, filing, and processing of Value Added Tax (VAT), Withholding Tax (WTH), and Withholding Tax on Higher-tier Transactions (WTHT), ensuring compliance with regulatory deadlines and accuracy in all submissions.

Monitor outstanding receivables diligently, ensuring timely follow-up to resolve pending balances and maintain accurate financial records.

Monitor outstanding payables and receivables to ensure timely identification of overdue balances.

Partner with the HR department to process and verify payroll inputs, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of all related tasks.

Weekly and monthly reconciliation of bank and other accounts is required to ensure accuracy and maintain financial integrity.

On a monthly basis, this role involves the preparation of Profit & Loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Ensure timely submission of statutory deductions, including PAYE, SHIP, NSSF, and the Housing Levy.

Fulfilling the timely submission of the Catering levy is essential to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations.

Ensure the meticulous organization and secure storage of all financial records and account-related documents.

Responsibilities include monitoring licenses to ensure they are processed and renewed punctually.

Ensure the timely processing of all installment taxes in accordance with established deadlines.

This role involves regularly updating and verifying asset information within the register to reflect current statuses, locations, and conditions. Responsibilities include conducting periodic audits to reconcile discrepancies, processing additions or disposals of assets, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards. The position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with asset management software and spreadsheets. Collaboration with finance, procurement, and operations teams may be necessary to validate asset data and support financial reporting.
