More precisely, your responsibilities will include the following:

Enhance the end-to-end security of our Cloud and network infrastructure, specifically within the Mesa processes.

Provide cloud security and network architecture assistance across all projects.

Develop High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs), establish standardized templates, and modularize configuration items to enhance implementation efficiency and industrialization.

Deploy cloud and network infrastructure designed to meet specific requirements, with a comprehensive understanding of how our services and applications will operate across the network—considering factors such as capacity, capability, and utilization.

Develop and deploy automated solutions for network-related controls spanning the organization’s cloud and on-premises environments.

Develop and execute advanced cybersecurity strategies, including artificial intelligence, Zero Trust frameworks, and other related approaches, to enhance network security measures.

Skilled in implementing and managing Azure security solutions, including Identity and Access Management (IAM), Network Security Groups (NSGs), Virtual Private Clouds (VPC), Web Application Firewalls (WAS), and related services.

Proficient in Cloud Security Operations, Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), and Cloud Workload Protection methodologies and technologies.

Proficient in shared responsibility models within cloud infrastructures, with a strong understanding of Privileged Access Management and Cloud Threat Prevention specifically tailored to Azure Cloud environments.

Ensures comprehensive network documentation for both cloud-based and on-premises systems.

To oversee and maintain consistent network integration, uniformity, and adherence to established standards across the region, local market, and cloud environments.

As a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for Cybersecurity within one African market and serving as a backup SPOC for another, your responsibilities include facilitating the remediation of vulnerabilities, coordinating patch management processes, and implementing robust systems hardening measures.

Responsible for the ongoing maintenance and technical support of a diverse range of cybersecurity systems, such as Firewalls, Web Application Firewalls (WAS), Antivirus solutions, Logging platforms, as well as Network and Host-based Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS).

Investigate and resolve Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 issues affecting Cybersecurity operations to ensure seamless functionality.

Oversee the development, enforcement, and enhancement of cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures to ensure robust protection and compliance.

Offer assistance in identifying and addressing cybersecurity incidents to ensure timely detection and effective response measures.

Implement strategic initiatives to uphold and elevate cybersecurity standards, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry best practices. Foster a culture of continuous improvement to maintain robust security measures and mitigate risks effectively. Establish and enforce policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard digital assets and sensitive information against evolving threats. Implement measures to mitigate Marine Protected Area (MPA) risks and conduct audits and reviews, both internally and externally.

Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance and align the Operational & Monitoring cybersecurity baselines (CSB) controls for all MPA-relevant business areas and processes tied to Network Security.

Develop and deploy robust network security protocols to safeguard critical data, software, and hardware assets against unauthorized access and potential threats.

Monitor network traffic continuously to identify and address any anomalies or potential security breaches promptly.

Perform periodic security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and address weaknesses in perimeter security systems as well as network-related vulnerabilities, including unsecured ports.

Formulate, implement, and maintain comprehensive security policies and procedures to ensure robust organizational protection.

Work collaboratively with IT and various departments to implement robust and comprehensive security measures.

Continuously monitor emerging security trends, evolving threats, and innovative technological solutions to ensure robust protection measures are in place.

Deliver training and facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions to ensure staff are proficient in network security practices, while providing ongoing support as needed.

Support all internal and external audits related to technology systems and processes, maintain compliance by ensuring these systems remain free of known audit findings, and close any identified findings within the agreed-upon timelines.

We collaborate extensively with customers, suppliers, and third parties to ensure seamless operations and foster strong business relationships. This role requires the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders, address inquiries promptly, and maintain clear and consistent communication across all interactions.
