Act as the intermediary between user departments and maintenance teams, escalating any arising issues to the supervisor for resolution.
The role involves performing recurring tasks and responsibilities on a regular basis.
Coordinate and lead special project initiatives, including the acquisition and planning of new systems and equipment, as well as the formulation of detailed bid specifications, as needed.
Create Preventative Maintenance schedules and guidelines in collaboration with the electrical supervisor.
Design and deliver tailored safety protocols and specialized in-service training programs for technicians and equipment operators, ensuring adherence to device-specific guidelines as required.
Conduct incident investigations and analyze system and equipment performance as needed.
Prepare or evaluate emergency and safety protocols concerning the utilization and operation of electrical systems and equipment.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, along with at least three years of hands-on experience in a comparable role. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills, is essential. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities are required to effectively engage with cross-functional teams. Earned an Electrical Engineering diploma with a specialization in power systems, or possess an equivalent qualification.

Proficiency in computer applications will be considered an asset.
Proficient in the technical operation and maintenance of high-voltage/low-voltage distribution systems, switchgear, and control systems, as well as diesel generators, steam boilers, laundry facilities, and kitchen equipment.
