Oversee daily kitchen operations to maintain smooth and efficient service, ensuring the highest quality in food preparation, cooking, and presentation. Continuously monitor food preparation and cooking techniques to uphold consistency across all tasks.

Staff management and training responsibilities include supervising, coaching, and mentoring kitchen personnel to cultivate a proficient and capable team. Additionally, you will oversee staff scheduling to guarantee adequate coverage during peak periods, as well as coordinate off-days and leave requests. Regular performance assessments will be conducted, accompanied by constructive feedback to support staff development and productivity.

Inventory and cost control responsibilities include overseeing food and kitchen supply levels to ensure optimal quality, proper storage practices, effective rotation, and minimized waste. You will be tasked with controlling food costs by implementing efficient ordering processes, enforcing portion control measures, and identifying strategies to reduce waste. Additionally, maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory records will be a key responsibility.

Enforce rigorous compliance with food safety and sanitation protocols within the kitchen environment. Verify adherence to all applicable local authority food safety regulations to uphold regulatory standards.

In the realm of Guest Experience, it is essential to uphold the highest standards of presentation and food quality to consistently surpass guest expectations. Any guest feedback or concerns regarding food quality must be addressed promptly and effectively, ensuring a seamless and satisfactory dining experience.

Collaborate effectively with the service team to uphold and enhance the overall guest experience. Contribute to budgeting processes and assist in developing and executing strategies to achieve the Guest House’s financial objectives. Work in partnership with sales and marketing teams to design and implement special events and promotional initiatives.
