POSITION SUMMARY:
The Data Analyst Team Lead, accountable to the Senior Manager of Data Products, will spearhead the creation and implementation of data-as-a-product solutions tailored to market demands. This role requires a robust comprehension of data requirements across producers, market partners, and consumers, along with the capacity to distill these insights into well-defined, prioritized solutions and a structured delivery roadmap. Additionally, you must possess a forward-thinking perspective on leveraging these solutions to generate actionable insights that foster meaningful benefits for both producer partners and the environment. Your responsibility will include ensuring that all released data products are purpose-built and deliver peak value.
You will additionally collaborate with the Senior Manager of Data Products to co-create the data delivery roadmap, prioritize team tasks, and provide mentorship to enhance the team’s skills and expertise.
Approximately half of your time will be dedicated to leading teams and advancing strategic initiatives, while the remaining half will focus on executing operational project tasks directly.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Oversee a team comprising 3 to 4 data analysts, ensuring their performance aligns with organizational objectives and project timelines.
Proactively engage in initiatives that incorporate data-related elements from the outset to facilitate the identification and integration of necessary data requirements.
Remaining current with advancements in data reporting tools and methodologies is essential to ensure alignment with evolving industry standards and technologies.
Gathering data reporting requirements from external clients and prospective customers is essential to this role.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to extract meaningful insights from data and translate those findings into actionable strategies for external stakeholders.
Collaborate effectively with Product Managers to incorporate all necessary data requirements into the specifications for tooling.
Collaborate closely with the data engineering team to ensure roadmap alignment, manage interdependencies, and recommend effective data engineering solutions.
Enhance reporting functionalities consistently to ensure optimal performance for both analytics teams.
Facilitates the deployment of dashboards throughout the organization and assists in the execution of project-related rollouts in collaboration with the Implementation team.
Facilitating collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of the customer rollout process is a key responsibility.
Periodically engage with field colleagues and relevant stakeholders involved in data collection to detect potential biases and reporting risks, then deliver detailed reports to empower them in recognizing and mitigating these challenges.
Develop a structured approach for collecting regional intelligence and incorporate it as structured data within our internal reports to support bottom-up strategic initiatives.
Evaluating strategic avenues to seamlessly incorporate data integration, ensuring optimal engagement and intuitive usability.
WHAT YOU BRING:
A bachelor’s degree is required, along with strong proficiency in mathematics, statistics, and/or data analysis.
With over seven years of hands-on experience in data reporting and analysis, the ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in extracting actionable insights from complex datasets.
Possesses a minimum of one year of managerial experience, or equivalent expertise in coaching, mentoring, and training junior personnel.
Analyze root causes of issues and take proactive steps to address them through teamwork and collaboration.
Experienced in end-to-end utilization of data visualization platforms, including Power BI and Tableau.
Proficiency in the English language is essential.
