Tavern Water and Sewerage Company Ltd was established on April 7, 2006, as a private limited company by shares to ensure operational independence and facilitate commercial activities. The company’s initial major shareholders included the Municipal Council of Void, the County Council of Tait Tapeta, and the Town Council of Tapeta, which have since been consolidated into the County Government of Tait Tapeta.
The company operates as one of the Water Service Providers (WSPs) within the jurisdiction of the County Water and Sanitation Board (CWSB) and has been engaged under a Service Provision Agreement to deliver water and sewerage services throughout Tait Tapeta County.
