Subculture is looking for a Finance Strategy Associate to collaborate closely with our Finance team and external stakeholders, driving the company’s fundraising efforts and financial strategy amid our rapid expansion. You will enhance your financial acumen, strategic insight, and operational expertise by contributing to executive decision-making processes and leading key strategic finance initiatives, partnerships, and workflows.

A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field is essential, with relevant certifications such as CFA or CPA preferred.

Construct and leverage financial models to support budgeting, business planning, and capital raising initiatives at both Group and Company levels, ensuring accuracy and strategic alignment.

Develop, sustain, and leverage supplementary tools, including short-term cash flow projections, unit economics evaluations, and pricing analysis, as well as demand elasticity studies.

In collaboration with the Financial Planning & Analysis team, conduct comprehensive analyses of critical unit economics factors, including credit loss and after-sales performance.

Partner with the FP&A and Business Intelligence (“BI”) teams to refine data, perform advanced analytics, and construct forecasting models—such as those incorporating IoT, payment, and other data sources—to drive strategic decisions and deliver actionable insights to both customers and external stakeholders, while also utilizing FP&A software solutions.

We seek a dynamic professional to spearhead capital acquisition initiatives, driving strategic fundraising efforts to secure vital financial resources. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of successfully raising capital across diverse funding sources, including equity, debt, and alternative financing solutions. Responsibilities include cultivating relationships with investors, financial institutions, and stakeholders while executing meticulous financial analysis and due diligence. Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and market research is essential, along with exceptional communication and negotiation skills. The role demands the ability to identify and pursue high-impact opportunities while managing complex transactions with precision.

Partner with the Chief Financial Officer to refine and implement the financing strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and market conditions.

Oversee and manage capital raising initiatives, encompassing processes related to equity, debt, grants, and technical assistance funding.

Oversee the creation and refinement of critical capital raising elements, including financial models, investment memorandums, data rooms, market analyses, and due diligence workstreams, while coordinating closely with external advisors throughout the process.

Direct oversight and coordination of financing initiatives focusing on foreign exchange (FX) risk mitigation are essential responsibilities. This encompasses leadership and management of pertinent workstreams associated with FX risk management.

Dedicated to driving growth and expanding market presence, this role focuses on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, and cultivating client relationships to enhance revenue streams. Deliver comprehensive financial support for business development projects, encompassing existing product pricing, new product launches—such as carbon revenue streams, insurance, warranty extensions, refurbished sales, and customer portal or marketplace platforms—as well as entry into new markets, including the establishment of subsidiaries. Prepare detailed business cases, establish pricing strategies, and secure necessary capital to drive these initiatives forward.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting accurate financial reports, analyzing variances between actual and budgeted figures, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires proficiency in financial software, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex data clearly to stakeholders. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data, maintain audit trails, and support strategic decision-making through insightful reporting.

In collaboration with the FP&A Manager, develop comprehensive stakeholder reports highlighting the company’s financial, operational, and impact performance for key audiences including the Board, shareholders, lenders, grant providers, and partners.
