What you’ll do

Proactively uncover and cultivate investment prospects in reforestation, blue carbon, and sustainable agriculture and land use within emerging markets. Establish and nurture a robust proprietary pipeline by leveraging direct connections with project developers, governmental entities, and ecosystem facilitators. Implement and refine a stringent evaluation methodology to systematically assess opportunities against the fund’s financial and impact benchmarks.
Investment execution and due diligence will involve spearheading comprehensive investment evaluations for corporate and project-level opportunities, encompassing financial modelling, carbon methodology assessment, legal and regulatory scrutiny, community and environmental safeguards, as well as country and political risk analysis. You will be responsible for structuring and negotiating investment terms, as well as developing investment committee materials that present a clear, well-justified recommendation. Additionally, you will ensure all investments align with specified portfolio return targets, impact goals, and risk tolerance parameters.
Take ownership of portfolio investments post-close by actively managing performance, monitoring against KPIs, and proactively identifying risks while offering direct support to investees as required. Collaborate with project teams to enhance operational resilience, optimize carbon credit issuance results, and identify additional opportunities to drive follow-on value creation.
As a senior relationship manager, you will spearhead the identification and cultivation of pivotal strategic partnerships—such as carbon credit offtakers, co-investors, and technical or research collaborators—to enhance the fund’s investment appeal and mitigate transaction-specific risks. In this role, you will oversee key partner relationships throughout the entire deal lifecycle, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and fostering long-term value creation.
Investor relations support involves preparing and disseminating precise, prompt, and analytically rich updates regarding deal advancements and portfolio performance to facilitate investor reporting and engagement. Additionally, the role assists in fundraising efforts by furnishing credible, deal-specific evidence that substantiates the fund’s investment thesis.
