Our Kenya-based business is currently seeking a Parts Field Sales Advisor to enhance our team in Nairobi, where this role will report directly to the After Sales Manager.
In this position you will
Fosters strong, collaborative working relationships with colleagues by maintaining transparent and effective communication.
Support Service Technicians by identifying and determining the necessary parts for service tasks.
Cultivates and sustains constructive partnerships with both vendors and team members.
Notifies customers promptly upon the arrival of special order parts.
The Technician receives the required parts promptly, minimizing any delay; pre-picking parts is implemented as needed, particularly for recall services or scheduled maintenance appointments.
Leverage retailing methodologies to effectively merchandise and sell parts and accessories, ensuring optimal presentation and customer engagement.
Collaborates with the Service, Sales, and Body Shop departments, among others, to facilitate the fulfillment of parts requests.
Evaluates and facilitates initiatives aimed at enhancing methodologies and operational processes within the Parts Department.
Utilize parts resources, including catalogues, to gather comprehensive data on inventory levels for parts and accessories.
Ensures precise management of parts inventory to enhance operational efficiency and prevent customer delivery delays.
Leverages available inventory allowances to optimize stock levels, thereby reducing excess and obsolete items to the lowest possible amount.
Maintains an organized filing system to manage all documentation related to repair orders, special orders, and back orders.
You will handle incoming customer inquiries regarding parts and follow up to facilitate sales.
Ensuring timely placement and meticulous follow-up on special orders to drive sales growth.
When interacting with customers, you will proactively recommend and present additional parts that complement their needs, enhancing their overall experience and increasing sales opportunities.
Engaging in all promotional activities initiated by the company is a key responsibility of this role.
About You

A bachelor’s degree in a business-related field is the minimum educational requirement for this position.
With a proven track record in parts sales spanning two years, you bring a strong foundation of experience and a history of notable achievements in this field.
