Responsible for the receipt, organization, and distribution of consignment items, including medical surgical supplies, pharmaceuticals, pathology and radiology materials, food and beverage provisions, engineering equipment, capital expenditure (CAPEX) items, and general stores inventory, as well as non-inventory materials required by hospital-wide departments, outreach programs, and University Centre users. Ensures precise reporting of inventory levels across all designated areas of responsibility.

Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity, managing team performance, and fostering a collaborative work environment. Duties involve developing and implementing strategic plans, monitoring progress toward goals, and evaluating business performance. Additionally, the role requires coordinating cross-functional teams, resolving conflicts, and enhancing operational workflows. Accountability for budget management, resource allocation, and adherence to company policies is also essential. The position demands strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to drive innovation while maintaining high standards.

Responsible for overseeing the designated warehouse and/or Sub Store operations.

Handle incoming service material requests submitted by end-users, ensuring timely processing and resolution.

Accurately and promptly distribute all required items to ensure seamless operations.

Accurately and promptly post and update transactions in the system, ensuring completeness and timely issuance of items.

Safely and systematically arrange items to ensure clear identification and full traceability.

Proactively monitor inventory levels to prevent stock outs by notifying the purchaser in advance when items are approaching depletion.

Recommend the ideal replenishment quantities for inventory items to maintain optimal stock levels.

Responsibilities include accepting incoming inventory from suppliers in alignment with established Purchase Orders, and conducting thorough inspections to validate both the quantity and quality of received goods.

Efficiently receiving and verifying invoices in a timely manner before promptly forwarding them to Finance for processing.

Support efforts to ensure optimal inventory levels and reduce excess stock days.

Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all received goods from vendors, warehouses, and sub-stores by conducting thorough quality inspections.

Address any unresolved issues reported by end users.

Ensure stock movements strictly adhere to the First-Expired-First-Out (FEFO) method.

Oversee a minimum threshold of expiries and obsolete inventory items to ensure efficient inventory control.

Participate in quarterly inventory counts to maintain accurate stock records and ensure operational efficiency.

Ensure the daily submission of the checklist and the timely monthly submission of bulk SPR for inventory replenishment, slow-moving inventory, approved disposal forms, and QVR reports.

Duties may also encompass additional tasks delegated by the PSCMD Supervisor, Assistant Managers, Managers, and PSCMD leadership, potentially including support for the responsibilities and operations of the Purchase Assistant role.

Seeking a candidate with a strong academic background, relevant professional experience, and a well-developed skill set to meet the demands of the position. Experienced in utilizing Microsoft Office applications, specifically Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, with a high level of proficiency.

Maintains strong collaborative relationships within team settings while demonstrating proactive initiative and self-driven motivation in all responsibilities.

Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service, coupled with strong interpersonal and communication skills, is essential.

Capable of lifting substantial weight, maneuvering in elevated positions, and executing tasks that involve stooping or reaching.

A strong understanding of warehousing and stocking principles is essential for this role.
