Daily, you will design and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities for the children, strictly aligning with the established curriculum, structured schemes of work, and detailed lesson plans to ensure consistent educational delivery.
Collaborating closely with the Curriculum Development Manager, you will be responsible for creating, evaluating, and revising schemes of work and lesson plans to ensure alignment with the school curriculum.
Assessments are developed and administered for specified subject areas or topics as needed or upon request.
Supply an array of educational materials and engaging resources designed for children to interact with, examine, and utilize across both structured learning activities and creative, imaginative play scenarios.
Provide guidance and supervision to students on proper utilization and maintenance of equipment and materials, ensuring safety and preventing potential injuries or damages.
Design and facilitate programs that foster physical, cognitive, and interpersonal growth, including interactive games, creative arts, music sessions, and storytelling activities.
Prepare and organize materials, classrooms, and both indoor and outdoor spaces to foster environments conducive to creative play, learning, and motor-skill development while ensuring safety.
Monitor and assess each child’s developmental progress, compiling comprehensive written evaluations to be shared with the Principal, other school administrators, and parents.
Track and document children’s developmental milestones and progress through detailed reports.
Deliver instruction to students both individually and in groups, customizing educational approaches to accommodate diverse learning preferences and interests.
Greet incoming students warmly, assist them in removing their outerwear, and guide them toward engaging activities tailored to their interests.
Develop and implement clear behavioral guidelines, policies, and operational procedures to ensure a structured and orderly environment for students.
Plan and oversee class projects, field trips, guest speaker engagements, and other experiential learning initiatives, while providing students with structured guidance to maximize educational outcomes from these activities.
Participate in professional meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops to continuously enhance and uphold professional competence.
Provide support during bus boarding and disembarking procedures to ensure the safe and orderly movement of passengers.
Perform additional tasks as directed by your Manager to support operational needs and contribute to team objectives.
ABOUT YOU
Required skills and qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, at least three years of professional experience in a comparable role, and proficiency in industry-standard software tools. Candidates must demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a proven track record of delivering results in fast-paced environments. Familiarity with project management methodologies, data analysis techniques, and compliance regulations is highly desirable. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess leadership qualities, the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting, and a commitment to continuous professional development.
You possess a valid TSC certificate, demonstrating your eligibility to teach in accordance with national standards.
A degree relevant to Education is required for this position.
With a minimum of three years of hands-on teaching experience, you bring a solid foundation of instructional expertise to the role.
You demonstrate strong proficiency in essential productivity tools, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
