Develop and oversee program schedules in Primavera P6, integrating inputs from civil, structural, MEP, and architectural disciplines. Conduct critical path analysis, evaluate schedule compression opportunities, and perform delay assessments. Compile earned value management (EVM) reports, tracking key metrics such as CPI and SPI, and present findings via traffic-light dashboards. Undertake site visits to evaluate progress firsthand. Oversee contractor and consultant performance while administering contractual obligations. Evaluate procurement sequencing, resource levelling, and logistics strategies through what-if scenario analysis. Draft technical memoranda and briefing documents aligned with international program management standards. Utilize ERP Next for project controls and Google Workspace, incorporating AI-enhanced workflows for document management.
What We Are Looking For
A recognized Kenyan university must award a B.Sc./B.Eng. in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Architecture, as this foundational education is essential for demonstrating planning competence.
All candidates must successfully complete comprehensive assessments in abstract reasoning, numerical analysis, and critical thinking to demonstrate strong analytical skills. Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, or comparable scheduling software is essential, complemented by strong data-driven analytical skills and spreadsheet modeling capabilities. You must effectively communicate project management challenges and execute construction activities by developing comprehensive Money-Ready Plans (MRPs)—covering technical, cost, logistics, and quality aspects. The role requires adept people management to engage and coordinate with both internal teams and external contractors. Additionally, expertise in leveraging AI-assisted workflows is highly valued.
