Our Kenya-based business is currently seeking a Parts Field Sales Advisor to enhance our team in Nairobi, where this role will report directly to the After Sales Manager.

In this position you will

Fosters strong collaborative relationships among colleagues by employing effective communication strategies.

Provide support to Service Technicians in assessing and determining the necessary parts for service tasks.

Cultivates productive partnerships with both vendors and team members to foster a collaborative and efficient work environment.

Upon a special order part’s arrival, promptly notifies the respective customer to ensure they are informed of its availability.

The Technician receives the required parts promptly, minimizing any delays; when feasible, parts are pre-selected in advance, such as for customer recalls or scheduled service appointments.

Employ retailing methodologies to merchandise and showcase parts and accessories effectively.

Collaborates with the Service Department, Sales Department, Body Shop, and other relevant teams to fulfill parts requests efficiently.

Evaluates and facilitates initiatives aimed at enhancing methods and processes within the Parts Department.

Leverage parts resources, such as catalogues, to gather detailed information on parts and accessories inventory.

Ensures precise oversight of parts inventory to enhance operational efficiency and prevent any disruptions in customer service.

Maximizes available inventory allowances to minimize idle stock and obsolescence while ensuring efficient resource utilization.

Organizes and sustains an efficient filing system to manage documentation related to repair orders, special orders, and back orders.

Handling customer inquiries regarding parts and ensuring follow-ups to facilitate sales.

Special orders are processed and tracked to ensure timely fulfillment, while follow-up actions are diligently performed to secure sales completion.

Whenever assisting customers, actively recommend and promote additional parts to enhance their purchases.

Engaging in company-sponsored promotional activities is a key responsibility.

About You

To excel in this position, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:

A bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline is required.

With a proven track record in parts sales, you bring a minimum of two years of hands-on experience to the role. Your demonstrated success in driving sales performance sets you apart as a strong candidate for this position.

Customer service training will be considered a valuable asset for this position.

Detail-oriented professional with a commitment to delivering exceptional service, ensuring customer satisfaction through attentive listening and tailored solutions to meet individual needs.

Holders must possess a valid driver’s license in good standing, ensuring compliance with all applicable traffic regulations and eligibility to operate company vehicles.
