Deliver comprehensive secretariat support to industrial sectors within the Association while facilitating and aligning their operational activities.

Facilitate quarterly sector and sub-sector meetings, as well as special sessions as needed.

Assist with the creation and maintenance of detailed profiles for the industrial sector.

Policy & Advocacy Support: Provide specialized assistance to enhance and advance organizational initiatives through strategic policy analysis, stakeholder engagement, and advocacy coordination, ensuring alignment with mission-driven objectives and regulatory frameworks.

Examine policy challenges and craft strategic solutions, position papers, and official memoranda designed to engage and persuade key decision-makers.

Facilitate the implementation of government initiatives and oversee policy monitoring within national and East African Community (EAC) budgetary frameworks.

Provide support in resolving members’ advocacy concerns by liaising with government bodies, regulatory authorities, and key stakeholders.

Capacity Building & Strategic Development: We are tasked with enhancing organizational capabilities and advancing long-term growth initiatives. This role requires meticulous planning, strong financial acumen, and the ability to identify funding opportunities to support organizational objectives. Responsibilities include developing resource mobilization strategies, tracking funding streams, preparing comprehensive reports, and presenting findings to stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making. Proficiency in financial management software and adherence to regulatory compliance are essential for maintaining accountability and optimizing resource utilization.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in Economics, Social Sciences, or another related field is required.
