Our client, a prominent telecommunications provider, is seeking a dynamic Trade Development Representative to join their team.

Job purpose

To concentrate on conducting channel visits, enhancing retailer awareness, and improving SIM and Float turnaround, while ensuring optimal visibility and merchandising at the point of purchase for SOS and Trash agents.

Overseeing and executing a range of critical tasks, the role demands a proactive approach to managing daily operations and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. This position involves coordinating cross-functional teams, identifying opportunities for process optimization, and maintaining rigorous compliance with established policies and industry standards. Effectively oversee the identification, recruitment, and mapping of Agents, with a focus on mobile money outlets and high-traffic retail stores to ensure optimal coverage and accessibility.

Regularly conduct visits to SOS and agents in adherence with established route plans (beat plans) to ensure comprehensive coverage and engagement.

Provide essential business tools to facilitate seamless transactions at SSO and agent outlets, while conducting comprehensive training sessions for SOS and Trash Agents on operational processes.

We’re seeking to educate agents on Anti-Money Laundering (AML) protocols and instruct Single Sign-On (SSO) personnel on the Know Your Customer (KYC) process, specifically within the framework of SIM REG.

Ensure adequate stock coverage and monitor sales by diligently enforcing the 1.5x stock rule for agents, while also guaranteeing that SOS maintain sufficient SIM inventory for seamless new registration and activation processes.

Develop and sustain merchandising standards by ensuring the availability of merchandising materials at SOS and Agent outlets.

Seeking individuals with a robust academic background and relevant professional experience.
