Maintain accurate records of all sales transactions within the accounting software system.

Reconcile all income sources by comparing transactions recorded in the point-of-sale system with payment records to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Responsible for overseeing and managing the daily reconciliation of till floats and petty cash balances to ensure accuracy and availability of funds.

Verify the correctness of purchase invoices, ensuring they are properly authorized and aligned with the allocated budget.

Invoices are processed and entered into the accounting software system to ensure accurate financial records and timely payment processing.

Process payments to different suppliers after verification of invoices and approvals

Accurately file and process VAT, WTH, and WTHT submissions in a timely manner to ensure compliance with regulatory deadlines.

Diligently monitor and pursue overdue receivables to ensure timely collection and resolution.

Monitor accounts payable and receivable aging reports to ensure accurate tracking of outstanding balances, identifying overdue invoices, and assessing cash flow implications for timely follow-up and resolution.

Work collaboratively with the HR department to process and verify payroll inputs.

Conduct routine reconciliations of bank accounts and other financial records on a weekly and monthly basis to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Responsible for developing and maintaining monthly Profit & Loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with established accounting standards.

Ensure timely filing of statutory deductions, including PAYE, SHIP, NSSF, and the Housing Levy.

Ensure timely submission of the Catering Levy in accordance with established deadlines.

Ensure proper filing of all accounts documents

Ensure the timely processing and renewal of all licenses, maintaining accurate tracking to prevent any lapses or delays.

Responsibilities include overseeing inventory management and performing monthly stock counts to ensure accuracy and alignment with company records.

Ensure the timely processing of installment taxes according to prescribed deadlines.

Ensure all necessary documentation is prepared and organized to support the auditing process efficiently and accurately.

The role involves managing and updating the asset register to ensure accurate and current records. Responsibilities include verifying asset details, tracking additions and disposals, and reconciling discrepancies. Proficiency in database management and attention to detail are essential requirements for this position.
