Job Summary
Offer on-site electrical engineering expertise to ensure the safe and reliable functioning of electrical systems throughout production facilities and camp infrastructure. Assume responsibility for diagnosing electrical faults, performing preventative maintenance, verifying contractor workmanship, and assisting with capital upgrades and improvement projects to uphold operational availability and regulatory compliance.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required; candidates with equivalent work experience will also be considered. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is essential, along with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with software development methodologies, database management, and cloud platforms is highly desirable. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are necessary to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Prior experience in a similar role, preferably within a fast-paced environment, is preferred but not mandatory for qualified applicants.
A bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering, or an equivalent technical qualification is required.
Chartered or registered status, where applicable, is highly desirable.
Preferred candidates will have practical experience in the electrical trade and a background in field engineering.
