Oversee and execute a broad range of critical duties, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and operational standards. Serve as a key liaison between departments, facilitating clear communication and resolving discrepancies to support seamless workflows.

Delivers anesthesia services for all emergency and elective procedures performed in the operating room, encompassing both minor and major surgical cases.

Provide support in the care of critically ill patients on the ward as needed, including those requiring immediate resuscitation and endotracheal intubation.

Join our emergency trauma team and provide critical support in scenarios involving mass casualty incidents.

Ensure all necessary medication equipment and supplies for anesthesia are procured promptly and efficiently.

Proactively inspect the anesthesia machine and operating table to verify their proper functioning, promptly documenting and reporting any malfunctions, required repairs, or maintenance needs without delay.

Minimum educational and professional prerequisites to be considered for this role include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, along with a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in a comparable position. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in project management methodologies, strong analytical skills, and exceptional communication abilities. Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools is essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Additionally, prior experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines is required.

Registered Clinical Officer Anesthetists must possess a qualification from a recognized Medical Training College (MTC) or an equivalent higher diploma institution in anesthesia.

Registration with Kenya’s Clinical Officers Council is mandatory, ensuring compliance with national standards for healthcare professionals.

Professionals with a minimum of two years of hands-on experience in a high-volume hospital environment are encouraged to apply.

Technical and other competencies encompass a range of specialized skills and proficiencies essential for the role. Candidates must demonstrate expertise in relevant technical domains, including proficiency with industry-standard software, tools, and methodologies.
