As an Associate Clinical Supply Chain Manager at VIA, you will contribute to the development and execution of comprehensive clinical supply chain strategies for innovative clinical trials.

In this role, you will work in close partnership with internal stakeholders and external collaborators to guarantee the timely provision of supplies—including Investigational Medicinal Products (Imps) and Non-Investigational Medicinal Products (Pimps)—to clinical trial sites, while implementing robust inventory management and proactive demand forecasting strategies. Ideal for those who thrive on balancing analytical problem-solving with hands-on operational execution, this position enables you to play a pivotal role in driving forward the progress of clinical research.

Your responsibilities may encompass, but are not limited to, the following:

Proactively manages supply chain operations to ensure trial materials are delivered punctually and accurately to designated locations. Demonstrates strong self-directed work ethic with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative in coordinating logistics.

Develop and oversee demand forecasts and packaging plans to ensure that clinical supplies are packed and available as needed, in full alignment with project requirements.

Launch and manage packaging initiatives in collaboration with the designated vendor, while ensuring adherence to agreed-upon timelines and timely fulfillment of deliverables.

Monitor and update assigned Interactive Response Technology (IRT) systems as needed to maintain accurate study inventory management.

Develops and manages the distribution strategy while supervising the designated vendor(s) responsible for its implementation.

Conduct continuous budget monitoring to ensure projects operate efficiently and remain aligned with client-approved cost estimates.

Ensures adherence to all mandated training assignments and integrates the acquired knowledge into daily responsibilities.

Stay current with all Gap standards and relevant regulatory requirements pertinent to the position.

Facilitates essential discussions with clients and vendors to address Clinical Supply Chain matters or provide progress updates as required.

Offers administrative assistance to the Clinical Trial Supplies team as needed.

The role involves overseeing the evaluation and assessment of Temperature Excursions reported to the VIA Clinical Trial Supplies team.

Performs comprehensive and consistent evaluations of risk management to validate that all potential risks undergo systematic review and that suitable mitigation strategies are implemented.

Education, expertise, and credentials are required for this role. Applicants must meet the specified academic and professional qualifications to be considered for the position.

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a science-related or business discipline is required.

1-2 Years related industry experience in Clinical Trials.

Additionally, candidates must possess a minimum of one year of relevant experience in clinical supply chain management, which may include roles in supply chain operations, packaging, distribution, or interactive response technology (IRT) functions.

Proficiency in the Interactive Response Technology (IRT) system is essential for the role. Candidates should possess hands-on experience with this system to ensure seamless functionality and user engagement.

Proven capability in effectively managing projects is required.

Demonstrates skill in establishing and maintaining productive professional relationships with both internal teams and external partners.

Proven capability to convey information clearly and provide decisive leadership.

Proven problem-solving skills and the capacity to analyze complex issues to develop effective solutions are essential.

Demonstrates proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant applications.

Fluent English language proficiency is required.
