Resposibilities

GVRC is seeking to enlist the services of one skilled lead facilitator/consultant to oversee the execution of County Conventions for Women in Leadership focused on Electoral Gender-Based Violence preparedness in four designated counties: Homey Bay, Baring, Nairobi, and Vilify.

The consultant will collaborate with GVRC and designated county representatives to enhance participant engagement, refine and tailor session content and agendas, and lead four one-day county conventions. They will also facilitate interactive discussions on women’s leadership, governance, electoral gender-based violence risks, preventive measures, response strategies, referral pathways, and safety planning. Additionally, the role involves compiling concise session reports for each county and producing a comprehensive final report summarizing all activities and outcomes.

The consultant must demonstrate extensive expertise in governance, women’s political participation, gender-based violence, electoral violence prevention, community mobilization, training facilitation, and report writing. Responsibilities will focus on mobilization support, development of technical content, facilitation and training delivery, moderation of county-level dialogues, and compilation of reports.

Interested candidates are required to submit a concise technical proposal that demonstrates a clear comprehension of the assignment objectives. This should include an outline of the proposed methodology and session strategy, along with concrete examples of relevant prior work experience. Additionally, applicants must provide an updated curriculum vitae or professional profile, a sample report or prior facilitation output, a detailed work plan for covering all four counties, and a financial proposal specifying professional fees for the entire assignment.

We encourage interested candidates to submit their applications using the designated application method. This role requires candidates to follow the specified application process outlined in the job posting. Applicants must adhere to the outlined steps to ensure their materials are reviewed for consideration. The application method ensures a standardized and efficient evaluation of all submissions.

Interested applicants are required to submit their proposals to gvrcadmin@nwch.co.ke, with a copy forwarded to procurementmanager@nwch.co.ke.
