Drive the financial performance of assigned brands and channels by providing insightful analysis of actuals, potential risks and opportunities, and future outlooks.
Drive planning, objective formulation, and predictive analyses—including Latest Estimates—in close collaboration with Sales, while maintaining clear assumptions and adhering to a consistent update schedule.
Oversee, monitor, and align trade investments and commercial expenditures in collaboration with key stakeholders, while establishing governance frameworks and conducting post-evaluation analyses.
Collaborate with marketing and trade marketing teams to assess A&P investments, ensuring rigorous analysis of ROI and effectiveness metrics to enhance program performance.
Develop comprehensive business cases and profit-and-loss statements for initiatives related to innovation, portfolio management, and revenue optimization, and facilitate informed go/no-go decisions while monitoring realized benefits.
Collaborate with the supply chain team to oversee expenses related to products and logistics, track cost of goods sold (COGS), and uncover opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Provide management reporting and variance analysis compared to the plan and budget, and support period-end close activities alongside relevant finance partners.
Provide specialized analytical support and assistance with ad hoc projects as requested by regional and commercial stakeholders.
Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and a minimum of three years of professional experience in a comparable role. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, along with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities. The ideal applicant will demonstrate a track record of leadership, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning. Exceptional organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines are required. Familiarity with regulatory compliance and project management methodologies is highly desirable.
Essential
A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a closely related discipline is required.
Seeking a professional with 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in finance, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), or finance business partnering, preferably within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector or comparable dynamic industries.
Proven expertise in technical finance, encompassing accounting standards, performance management, forecasting, ROI assessment, and strategic analysis.
A strategic and analytical professional, adept at offering constructive challenges, distilling intricate concepts into clarity, and fostering impactful communication with senior stakeholders.
Experience in dynamic, matrixed, and global organizational structures, with the ability to collaborate effectively while exercising initiative and autonomy in fast-paced environments.
Proficiency in auditing, financial control, statutory accounting, and commercial expenditure management is beneficial.
