Job Description

Coordinates assigned functions and provides support to the Department of Public Works as needed. Facilitates the organization and scheduling of interdepartmental activities within the public works sector to guarantee the timely delivery of services. Communicates the operational status of the assigned entity to public works and/or site management. Delivers technical expertise and public works assistance to ongoing projects. Interprets relevant codes, standards, and specifications to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements throughout service delivery. Conducts inspections and audits of public works operations to verify compliance with established criteria. Offers guidance and training on specialized processes and procedures. Collaborates with company and project leadership, designers, and client representatives to develop and implement public works programs. Oversees the training, scheduling, and supervision of subordinate public works staff. Performs additional duties as assigned.

Seeking a candidate with a high school diploma or equivalent qualification, along with one to two years of relevant work experience in a related field. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential. The applicant must demonstrate the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities effectively, and maintain a high level of accuracy in their tasks. Familiarity with data entry, record-keeping, and basic accounting principles is a plus. The role requires the ability to collaborate with team members and interact professionally with clients.

Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is highly desirable. Additionally, knowledge of networking, security protocols, and database management systems will be advantageous. Excellent problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and a collaborative mindset are essential for success in this role.
