Your responsibilities

Experienced sales professionals are sought to spearhead and execute sales initiatives across the MI and NI portfolio within East Africa, with a primary emphasis on the Tanzanian market.

To cultivate a comprehensive grasp of customer strategies, market dynamics, and digital infrastructure priorities across East Africa.

By pinpointing, cultivating, and capitalizing on opportunities, this role ensures Nokia’s solutions effectively address and resolve customers’ business and technology-related challenges.

Develop and implement strategic initiatives for assigned accounts to drive revenue growth and expand market presence.

Foster robust, trust-centered relationships with key stakeholders at senior levels spanning technical, operational, and commercial domains.

Own and oversee the sales pipeline to maintain precision and adherence to processes within CRM systems.

Facilitate end-to-end sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, guiding opportunities from initial identification through final negotiation and contract execution.

Partner with global and regional teams to craft innovative sales strategies and secure high-impact proposals.

Collaborate with pre-sales teams, solution architects, and partner ecosystems to develop and deliver innovative, value-driven solutions tailored to client needs.

Collaborate effectively with delivery and operations teams to maintain strong alignment on execution strategies, risk management, and customer satisfaction metrics.

We seek candidates with a proven track record and relevant expertise in the specified domain. Applicants should demonstrate a strong background through prior roles, ensuring alignment with the outlined qualifications. Your responsibilities will revolve around executing key duties with precision, contributing to both individual and team objectives. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Business, or a closely related discipline is required for this position.

Minimum qualifications include a decade of experience in account management and solution sales, specifically within the telecommunications and/or information technology sectors.

Proficient in Mobile Networks and Digital Infrastructure, with a deep understanding of automation principles and their practical applications.

Proficiency in both mobile and fixed network environments, with a particular emphasis on emerging markets, is required.

Accomplished a history of reliably achieving or surpassing sales objectives, demonstrating consistent performance excellence.

Individuals with a proven track record in software and services sales within the telecommunications or IT sector are strongly encouraged to apply.

Seasoned professionals with extensive expertise in steering partners and ecosystems within expansive transformation initiatives will be highly regarded.

Demonstrated expertise in customer relationship management (CRM) platforms, including Salesforce, alongside strong command of the Microsoft Office Suite, is required.

Proficient command of English is essential, with fluency in an additional regional language considered a valuable asset.

Maintains a high standard of integrity, demonstrates accountability in all actions, and upholds professionalism consistently.
