In this role, you will work in close partnership with internal colleagues and external stakeholders to ensure the timely provision of supplies—including Investigational Medicinal Products (Imps) and Non-Investigational Medicinal Products (Pimps)—to clinical trial sites, while maintaining robust inventory oversight and accurate demand forecasting for pharmaceutical needs. Your duties may encompass a range of tasks, including but not limited to:
Must demonstrate self-motivation and initiative to independently manage the timely and accurate delivery of all trial materials to designated locations.
Maintain demand forecasts and packaging plans to ensure packed clinical supplies are readily available in alignment with project requirements.
Launch packaging campaigns in collaboration with the designated vendor and monitor progress to guarantee punctual delivery of all materials.
Monitor and, when needed, revise the Interactive Response Technology (IRT) systems assigned to a study to maintain accurate and efficient management of study inventory.
Develops and manages the distribution strategy while ensuring the designated vendor(s) adhere to the established plan.
Conduct continuous budget monitoring to ensure projects operate efficiently and align with client-approved cost estimates.
Ensures strict adherence to all assigned training requirements and consistently integrates the acquired knowledge into daily responsibilities.
Stay current with all Gap and regulatory requirements relevant to this position.
Facilitates essential discussions with clients and vendors, focusing on topics or progress updates related to the Clinical Supply Chain.
The Clinical Trial Supplies team receives administrative assistance as needed to facilitate their operations.
The role is responsible for overseeing the evaluation and review process for Temperature Excursions reported to the VIA Clinical Trial Supplies team.
Performs comprehensive and routine evaluations of risk management to guarantee that all potential risks are systematically examined, and suitable mitigation strategies are implemented.
Qualifications and educational requirements include possessing relevant degrees, certifications, or equivalent professional experience that align with the role’s demands. Knowledge of industry-specific principles, methodologies, and best practices is essential, along with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development to maintain expertise in the field.
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a scientific or business-related field is required.
Experienced with 1–2 years in Clinical Trial operations within the relevant sector.
Additionally, candidates must possess a minimum of one year of practical experience in Clinical Supplies Chain Management, encompassing roles within Supply Chain, Packaging, Distribution, or Interactive Response Technology (IRT) functions.
Professional experience with the Interactive Response Technology (IRT) system is required.
Demonstrates strong proficiency in project management methodologies and execution.
Proven capability to cultivate and maintain productive professional relationships with both internal teams and external partners.
Proven capability to articulate messages clearly and provide decisive leadership.
Skilled in identifying and resolving complex challenges through analytical reasoning and innovative solutions.
Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant applications, with a high level of expertise.
Fluent in written and verbal English communication with a strong command of grammar, vocabulary, and professional terminology.
