Resposibilities
GVRC is seeking to recruit a skilled lead facilitator/consultant to oversee the execution of County Conventions focused on Women in Leadership concerning Electoral Gender-Based Violence preparedness in four designated counties: Homey Bay, Baring, Nairobi, and Vilify.
The consultant will collaborate with GVRC and county focal persons to facilitate participant engagement, design and refine session content and agendas, and lead four one-day county conventions. Additionally, they will facilitate interactive discussions on women’s leadership, governance, electoral gender-based violence (GBV) risks, prevention strategies, response mechanisms, referral pathways, and safety planning. The consultant will also compile concise county session reports as well as a comprehensive final report.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in governance, women’s political participation, gender-based violence, electoral violence prevention, community mobilization, training facilitation, and report writing. This position primarily involves providing mobilization support, developing technical content, conducting facilitation and training sessions, moderating county dialogues, and preparing reports.
