Spearhead sales initiatives throughout the MI and NI portfolios in East Africa, with particular emphasis on the Tanzanian market.

Acquire a comprehensive grasp of East African customer strategies, market dynamics, and digital infrastructure priorities.

We analyze and cultivate potential opportunities by strategically aligning Nokia’s solutions with the unique business and technological needs of our customers.

Devise and implement strategic initiatives tailored to each account to drive revenue growth and facilitate market expansion.

Cultivate and sustain robust, trust-centric partnerships with key senior stakeholders spanning technical, operational, and commercial domains.

Oversee the sales pipeline with full accountability, maintaining meticulous accuracy and strict adherence to CRM protocols.

Spearhead intricate, cross-functional sales initiatives, overseeing the entire process from prospecting and opportunity assessment to final agreement execution and contract signing.

Collaborate with international and regional colleagues to craft effective sales strategies and create compelling proposals.

Collaborate effectively with delivery and operations teams to maintain alignment regarding execution strategies, risk management, and customer satisfaction outcomes.

Your qualifications and professional background will be essential for this role. A proven track record in the relevant field is required, along with demonstrated expertise in key areas. Strong analytical abilities, effective communication skills, and the capacity to work collaboratively in a team environment are expected. Additionally, familiarity with industry-specific tools, methodologies, or certifications may be necessary. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high attention to detail and delivering results in a fast-paced setting. Prior experience in similar positions is strongly preferred to ensure a seamless transition into the responsibilities of the role.

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Business, or a related discipline is required for this position.

With a minimum of ten years of experience in account management and solution sales, specifically within the telecommunications and/or information technology sectors, you will bring a proven track record of success to this role.

Individuals should possess a comprehensive understanding of mobile networks, digital infrastructure, and automation technologies.

Individuals should possess a comprehensive knowledge of both mobile and fixed network environments, with a specific emphasis on emerging markets.

Consistently surpassing or achieving sales goals with a demonstrated history of success.

Experienced in software and services sales within the telecommunications or IT sector, with a strong preference for candidates who meet this criterion.

Seasoned in leading partners and ecosystems amid large-scale transformation initiatives, with a strong preference for such experience.

Required expertise includes hands-on experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, alongside a strong command of the Microsoft Office suite.

Fluent proficiency in English is essential, with proficiency in an additional regional language considered a valuable asset.
