Position Summary

We are in search of a meticulous and proactive Field Sales Representative to spearhead product adoption and revenue expansion throughout Kenya. This position entails cultivating robust client relationships, advocating premium offerings to clinics and hospitals, and interacting with dental professionals to elevate sales within the dental supplies sector.

Oversee and execute critical operational tasks to ensure seamless business functioning, including financial management, strategic planning, and performance monitoring. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency and compliance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align departmental objectives with organizational goals. Lead and mentor staff, fostering a high-performance culture through training, feedback, and professional development initiatives. Analyze market trends and competitive data to inform decision-making and drive growth strategies. Manage stakeholder relationships to maintain strong partnerships and ensure customer satisfaction. Prepare and present reports on key performance indicators and business metrics to senior leadership.

We are responsible for marketing and distributing a broad portfolio of dental equipment, instruments, and consumables to dental practices, hospitals, and other healthcare providers. This role involves actively promoting products to these facilities to drive sales and expand market reach.

Proactively cultivate and expand new business prospects by conducting on-site visits, leveraging referral networks, and participating in industry conferences and events.

Develop and nurture enduring professional connections with dental professionals and influential stakeholders to foster mutually beneficial partnerships.

Deliver comprehensive product demonstrations and training sessions to ensure clients gain a thorough understanding of proper usage, key benefits, and essential maintenance procedures.

Monitor competitor actions, pricing strategies, and new developments in the dental supplies sector and provide timely, detailed reports on these observations.

Work collaboratively with logistics, technical, and marketing teams to guarantee on-time deliveries while delivering an outstanding client service experience.

Strive to surpass monthly and quarterly sales goals consistently.

Accurately document all sales activities, customer interactions, and market insights to ensure comprehensive record-keeping.

Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field, complemented by a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in the specified industry. The ideal applicant will demonstrate strong analytical skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in industry-standard software and tools. Additionally, excellent communication and teamwork capabilities are essential, along with a proven track record of delivering results under tight deadlines. Familiarity with regulatory compliance and project management methodologies will be highly advantageous.

A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Dentistry, Medical Sciences, Marketing, Business, or a closely related discipline is required.

A minimum of three years of demonstrated sales expertise within the dental or medical supplies sector is essential for this role.

A thorough understanding of dental equipment and products is strongly preferred.

Proven ability in delivering compelling presentations, conducting effective negotiations, and fostering strong interpersonal connections.

Demonstrates strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and customer relationship management (CRM) software.

Demonstrates a readiness and flexibility to undertake frequent travel throughout the designated region.

Demonstrates expertise in strategic planning, problem-solving, and decision-making, with a focus on delivering measurable results. Exhibits strong leadership abilities, fostering collaboration and driving team performance. Possesses excellent communication skills to articulate goals, delegate tasks, and engage stakeholders effectively.
