Responsible for compiling, verifying, and finalizing vendor invoices in accordance with established accounting procedures and company policies. Ensures accuracy of billing data, cross-references purchase orders and delivery confirmations, and resolves discrepancies through clear communication with vendors and internal departments. Maintains organized invoice records, adheres to payment deadlines, and supports month-end closing processes as needed.
Compiling statements and reports to be reviewed by the company’s accountant is a key responsibility of this role.
Overseeing the sales ledger falls within your core responsibilities, ensuring accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions related to sales. This role demands meticulous attention to detail to maintain the integrity of the ledger, reconcile discrepancies, and generate reports that support financial decision-making. Proficiency in accounting software and a solid understanding of bookkeeping principles are essential, as is the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any inconsistencies or billing issues promptly.
Facilitating communication between clients and the sales department to ensure alignment and address inquiries effectively.
