We seek a seasoned pension actuary to assume a senior position within our actuarial consulting team.

As a Senior Pensions Actuary, you will be tasked with overseeing and executing key actuarial duties, encompassing financial modeling, valuation assessments, and strategic risk management for pension schemes. Your role will involve providing expert guidance to clients or internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks, and delivering precise actuarial reports to inform decision-making. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and investment departments, to develop and implement robust pension solutions tailored to organizational objectives. Additionally, you will lead actuarial audits, monitor funding levels, and contribute to the formulation of long-term pension strategies, while mentoring junior actuaries to foster professional growth within the team.

Leading and overseeing pensions actuarial projects, which encompass actuarial valuations, funding assessments, financial reporting disclosures, benefit analysis, member calculations, and other specialized advisory services.

Thoroughly examining actuarial reports, confirming their technical precision, the quality of guidance provided, and adherence to relevant professional and regulatory standards before final authorization.

Offering expert actuarial guidance to pension scheme trustees, sponsors, employers, and other key stakeholders.

Provide guidance to clients on various aspects of pension scheme funding, risk management, investment strategy, benefit design, liability management, and governance issues.

Serving as a key liaison for client engagements, you will provide expert guidance on pensions, actuarial science, and retirement planning, fostering trust and delivering strategic insights to support their long-term financial objectives.

Responsible for managing the full scope of project delivery, encompassing strategic planning, budget management, resource allocation, client billing, receivables collection, and ensuring the punctual fulfillment of client deliverables.

Responsibilities include evaluating actuarial models, scrutinizing calculations, assessing assumptions and methodologies, and verifying the accuracy of report outputs.

Coaching, guiding, and mentoring junior actuarial staff, as well as facilitating technical training and skill enhancement initiatives.
