THE ROLE
Reporting to the Regional Partner Director and maintaining a dotted-line relationship with the AFR New Business Sales Director, this role focuses on identifying and engaging new Sales Partners—including Introducers, Resellers, and Distributors—across Africa to expand partner-driven sales within Teens’ multi-product portfolio. Key responsibilities include cultivating a robust sales pipeline, preparing for and participating in monthly pipeline reviews with both Teens leadership and partner stakeholders. Additionally, the role involves nurturing relationships with existing sales partners to sustain their pipeline generation efforts, ensuring they remain motivated, informed, and equipped to promote Teens solutions in their respective markets. Acting as a bridge between partners and Teens’ solutions teams, the position facilitates seamless collaboration and alignment.
RESPONSIBILITES
You will identify and engage potential business partners to develop Sales Partnership opportunities, including Introducers, Resellers, and Distributors. Additionally, you will establish and allocate specific targets, key accounts, markets, products, and strategic routes to market.
You will plan and conduct sales enablement sessions for partners to enhance their effectiveness and alignment with company objectives.
As the Sales Manager, your primary responsibility will center on spearheading sales initiatives to extend Teens’ market presence within target regions.
You will establish structured processes to guide the partner’s team in prospecting and expanding our shared business, including conducting weekly cadence calls, reviewing pipeline performance, assisting the partner in client engagement, and delivering technical and sales training programs.
You will provide support to partners during forecasting initiatives, sales planning activities, and the management of RFP and Pre-Sales processes.
You will develop and sustain a strong sales pipeline while ensuring precise tracking of quarterly forecasts and revenue projections.
Your responsibilities will include maintaining a balance between quarterly results and ensuring a clear focus on strategic and long-term revenue opportunities.
You will design and implement a strategic go-to-market plan tailored to your assigned territory, leveraging data-driven customer research and market intelligence to drive results.

Additionally, you will be responsible for consistently and harmoniously developing the sub-regional partner ecosystem, mitigating channel conflicts, and maximizing Teens’ long-term revenue potential.
Technical Skills Required:
Proficiency in software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum, is essential. Experience with programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript is necessary, along with familiarity with frameworks such as Spring, Django, or React. Knowledge of database management systems, including SQL and NoSQL, is also required, as is an understanding of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Additionally, candidates should possess expertise in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure as code. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail are paramount.
You should have a strong knowledge of banking applications and operations, including business processes (retail banking, corporate banking, payment solutions, etc..) as well as core banking and related solutions prevalent in the MEE market.
