Reporting to the Regional Partner Director and maintaining a dotted line to the AFR New Business Sales Director, this position is tasked with identifying and onboarding new Sales Partners—including Introducers, Resellers, and Distributors—across Africa to enhance channel sales for Teens’ multi-product portfolio. Your responsibilities will include cultivating a robust pipeline, preparing for and participating in monthly pipeline reviews with both Teens leadership and partner organizations. You will also oversee the ongoing engagement with existing sales partners, ensuring they remain committed to pipeline development while being equipped and trained to effectively promote Teens within their respective markets. Additionally, this role will serve as the key intermediary between partners and Teens’ solutions teams.

RESPONSIBILITES

You will identify potential business partners, such as introducers, resellers, and distributors, to establish sales partnerships, determine and allocate specific targets, targeted accounts, markets, and products, as well as explore effective go-to-market strategies.

You will organize sales enablement sessions for partners, ensuring they are structured and delivered effectively.

As the Sales Manager, your primary responsibility will be to spearhead sales initiatives aimed at broadening Teens’ market presence within targeted areas.

You will establish structured processes to guide the partner’s team in prospecting and expanding our shared business. This includes implementing consistent weekly check-ins, monitoring pipeline progress, assisting the partner in client engagement, and delivering technical and sales training sessions.

You will provide support to partners during forecasting activities, sales planning initiatives, and the management of RFP and pre-sales processes.

You will be tasked with developing and sustaining a strong sales pipeline while ensuring precise tracking of quarterly forecasts and revenue projections. This role requires diligent management of these critical functions to drive consistent business growth and financial accuracy.

Technical Skills:
Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++. Experience with software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Strong understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL) and version control systems (e.g., Git). Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues. Experience with testing frameworks and automated testing tools is a plus.

A solid understanding of banking applications and operations is essential, encompassing business processes such as retail banking, corporate banking, and payment solutions, as well as core banking and related solutions that are standard in the MEE market.
