Qualifications

A recognized qualification in Culinary Arts, Food Production, or a closely related field is required.

Prior experience in hotel operations, restaurant service, or a high-volume commercial kitchen setting is required.

Proficiency in meat cuts, butchery methods, and proper product handling is required.

Proficiency in food safety protocols and hygiene standards is essential, with knowledge of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) considered a valuable asset.

Proficient in the safe and proper use of knives and butchery equipment is required.

Proficient in kitchen operations and skilled in the meticulous preparation of mile en place.
