The Opportunity:
Lead sales operations and drive business goals across 15 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa, including the West African, East African, and Southern African Customs Unions and neighboring markets, for key accounts and broader customer segments. Succeed in this role by effectively deploying sales, marketing, and market access strategies tailored to all species, including Poultry, Pets, Ruminants, Swine, Equine, and VPH. Implement strategic action plans through established distribution networks and partnerships while ensuring full adherence to Boehringer Ingelheim’s global policies. Requirements:
Applicants are required to possess a Veterinary Degree or a Specialist Degree in Microbiology-Virology, or an equivalent qualification.
A minimum of seven to ten years of hands-on experience leading sales efforts in the animal health sector is required.
With a minimum of five years of comprehensive sales and marketing expertise, you have consistently attained targets and effectively implemented strategic initiatives.
Proficiency in regional operations throughout Sub-Saharan Africa is highly desirable.
Professional experience collaborating with multifunctional teams is required.
Frequent travel is a requirement, necessitating the possession of valid travel and driving documents.
