To drive expansion within the medical insurance sector, ensuring achievement of established annual premium objectives.

Key duties encompass overseeing project timelines, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards, and coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve organizational objectives. Responsibilities extend to monitoring progress, identifying potential risks, and implementing corrective measures to maintain efficiency. Additionally, the role requires analyzing data to inform strategic decisions, fostering collaboration among departments, and adhering to compliance protocols. Strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in relevant software are essential for success in this position.

Develop and secure new business opportunities, either independently or through third-party intermediaries, across all available channels.

Deliver outstanding customer service to both intermediaries and clients consistently.

We maintain and support the operations of our current business clients, ensuring seamless service delivery and ongoing satisfaction. This involves addressing client needs, resolving issues promptly, and fostering long-term partnerships to sustain and grow the business. Additionally, we perform regular account reviews to identify opportunities for improvement and enhanced service offerings.

Monitor the medical insurance portfolio to ensure timely renewal of policies and maintain comprehensive records of all follow-up actions taken.

Submit all proposal forms and Know Your Customer documentation to the underwriting department.

Secure premium collections punctually in accordance with the established credit control policy.

Compile weekly reports in accordance with BDM Corporate health guidelines.

Perform preliminary underwriting evaluations in alignment with established policies to uphold the integrity of risk acceptance decisions.

Address customer and client inquiries promptly and professionally.

As authorized by the Delegated Authority Matrix, responsibilities are assigned accordingly.

Execute additional duties as required from time to time, ensuring alignment with evolving operational objectives and priorities.

Highly proficient candidates must possess a comprehensive understanding, hands-on expertise, and relevant credentials within the specified domain. Essential prerequisites include a proven track record of applicable experience, formal qualifications that align with industry standards, and a deep awareness of key methodologies, tools, or frameworks pertinent to the role. Moreover, they should demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development while meeting all baseline eligibility criteria established for the position.

A bachelor’s degree in actuarial science or a closely related business discipline is required for this position.

Professional certification in Insurance, such as ACID or INK, or actively pursuing completion of an Insurance qualification, is required.

A minimum of three to five years of professional experience within the insurance sector is required.
