Requirement

Proven track record of leading or co-leading substantial externally funded research initiatives is required.

Proven proficiency in core numeracy instruction, encompassing early-grade teaching, evaluation methodologies, curriculum design, and educator professional growth initiatives.

Proven expertise in mentoring and guiding graduate-level students, fostering their academic and professional growth while ensuring adherence to program objectives and institutional standards.

Obtained a PhD in Mathematics Education or a comparable qualification from an accredited academic institution.

Professional recognition at the national, regional, or international level in the field of mathematics or numeracy education research is demonstrated.

Proven ability to communicate effectively, fostering strong relationships with policymakers and industry professionals while conveying complex information with clarity and confidence.

Proficiency in one or more methodological approaches—qualitative, quantitative, or a hybrid of both—is required.

Demonstrates an established and robust record of scholarly publications in the domains of mathematics education, foundational numeracy, or early-grade learning.
