The Opportunity

We are in search of a junior-level (1 to 2 years of experience) sales professional with robust technology proficiency to fill the role of Technical Proposal Writer. The preferred candidate will have a proven track record of crafting meticulous and successful proposals for clients in the Oil & Gas industry, United Nations agencies, non-governmental organizations, and international development institutions.

You will spearhead the complete proposal development lifecycle, overseeing each phase from RFP assessment to final submission, all while championing our C.A.R.E Culture.

Support the proposal team throughout the full lifecycle of proposal preparation by contributing to document formatting, editing, proofreading, and submission processes for proposals targeting Oil & Gas sector clients, UN agencies such as WFP, UNICEF, and UNDP, as well as international donors including USAID, the EU, and FCDO.

Support the evaluation of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), Invitations to Bid (Its), and other proposal solicitations by systematically organizing documentation, monitoring critical deadlines, and ensuring adherence to compliance checklists that align with Shine Maritime’s logistics and supply chain operational capabilities.

Review submissions to confirm adherence to donor guidelines, humanitarian standards such as CHS and SPHERE, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals, verifying proper document formatting and completeness of required attachments.

Collaborate with consortium partners, consultants, and sub-grantees to facilitate seamless communication and efficient document collection by organizing meetings, distributing files, and monitoring action items.

Maintain and update the proposal CRM database by logging historical submissions, organizing standardized content, and tracking donor intelligence.

Support internal efforts to enhance capacities by developing training materials, organizing workshops, and maintaining records of best practices in proposal writing.

You will bring strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail to support administrative operations efficiently. Proficiency in managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and handling correspondence is essential. The compensation package includes a base salary ranging from Ash 20,000 to Ash 30,000, complemented by commissions, performance-based bonuses, and additional perks. Comprehensive training opportunities are provided, along with full medical coverage and paid vacation time. Notably, commissions can further supplement earnings by Ash 5,000 to Ash 15,000 per month, depending on the successful acquisition of new business.
